So I was on a ride about with a mate today when some twat decided to fly down a single filed traffic bridge at 50mph without stopping at the give way sign. Anyway I managed to dodge the car and manoeuvre the bike between the small 50cm or so gap I had to his right. While doing so I still managed to scratch all his paintwork and at the same time rip off the RHS engine cover emblem and the 'magnet' ? I assume that fits inside the unit. I assume this is the ignition pickup I have damaged? If so, how big of an issue is it to fix in regards to cost and time needed?

is there wires still there? show a picture, it's pretty much drag and drop a new plate in there, nothing else.
Potential issues I can foresee include...
Sheared bolts?
Broken indexing pin?
Bent shaft end?
You need to be more descriptive :dunno_black:
I'll post a picture later on when I get to see it in some better sunlight. damage looked pretty bad though. sheared bolts from the emblem and it looks like the metal pin that goes inside the engine from the inside of the emblem has also snapped off inside. The golden rotor is bent to bits as well
