I was going to take the battery out...because I won't be riding for a week or 2...and now i lost one of the little screws that screw the terminals on the wire...
can I just use any screw?...or does it have to be a specific metal?
where should i store the battery?...I don't have a garage...
thanks

Any bolt/screw that has the sme thread is fine. Make sure it the right length... very short... else it will punch a hole in the top of your battery.
Cool.
Srinath.
For storage, i leave mine in the basement, away from direct sunlight and in a room with low humidity (otherwise it looses its charge quickly) and i recharge mine every month or so....
hey...where are you in ontario??...did you ride this previous weekend?...it was beautiful!!!
Best thing to do is get a "battery tender."
It's connects two lead to the battery and leaves a small connector under the seat. You just plug it in, plug it in.... A small wall wart type charger plugs in the wall. It keeps a vary small amount of charge on the battery during times of no riding.
If your worried about freezing, keep it inside but don't set in on a cement floor. This can cause the chemicals to break down faster.
