Title: removing vacuum circuit
Post by: Peter Tez on August 27, 2017, 04:19:29 AM
I will clean out all the unwanted (by me) hoses and stuff. have searched about every topic on this, but sadly everybody seems to have used photobucket and a lot of old treads are now kind of useless if there is no detailed explenation with the pictures...

so I want to clean out the pair system and tps. and the vacuum system I only want to keep for the fuel delivery. knowing myself I would leave the petcock open many times...

my question is, what can go?

the vacuum hose from the petcock to the electronic controler is connected to the pair system, the vacuum cannister and the lower vacuum port on the right carb (I guess this is the one controlling the fuel flow?)

can I just use 1 hose from the petcock to the lower port on the right carb, and dump all the rest?

thanks

Yes, you can. That configuration will work just fine.

Just make sure to block off the pair ports or lines. I made some fancy block off plates once, but many people just cut the lines off and fill them with jb weld.

thanks,

I will make some blockoff plates too. just simple ones. I think I saw your fancy ones, did they have gs written on them or something like that? I liked them :)
