Title: What part is this?
Post by: kri on September 19, 2017, 10:01:54 AM
Hey guys, new to the forum and motorcycling in general. Just got my 1997 GS500E and I managed to drop it while washing it, woohoo! Broke the front brake lever off, and the part holding it, as pictured in the imgur album linked under. Can't seem to find the part on various part-sites. So, what part is this exactly? Thanks!

Yep. Make sure your throttle tube spins freely. Dropping it on the right side can smash the plastic tube, causing your throttle to be sticky.

Sounds like your question was already answered, but I have to ask...how did you drop it while washing it???  :icon_confused:
