Title: Clutch Kit Question
Post by: ShowBizWolf on September 22, 2017, 07:42:26 PM
Posting for someone else who is looking for an answer.... (Thank goodness I don't have to get into this kind of thing atm!)

Is this a good kit for my 05 GS500F?
The description says that the design is to not be used with Steel friction plates??

I would rather have Fade free performance over -Fad-free performance.

(sorry for going all grammar police  :police: )

I swear to god, one day ill measure the SV650 and GS500 plates... and compare the two cause I'm almost 99% sure they are the exact same sizes. if that's the case the Barnett Performance plates might work [idk check your bikebandit or whatever] I really loved those plates. LIKE LOVE LOVE. jk. but nah they are good and took some serious abuse on my ol', now long gone 01 SV650. and I know for a fact the kit of the barnett are steel. so a good alternative if they have some for the GS500.

I need new plates in mine actually, just going with OEM because its a gs500! and the only thing it can race is 1980 Toyota corolla's and even that's not very fair for the GS500...  :flipoff:
