Put some valve cleaner in the tanks and took the old girl (bike not gf) out for a fang in the hills.

sweet! what is that monster rock named? Bike looking good! :star: :star: :star: applause!
Absolutely wonderful. How you enjoy the gas thusfar?
Aaron
Look like a ton of fun to ride, and the road isn't too bad either
Hey thanks guys, it's hard to tell how huge and looming that rock looks from the bike shot apparently these things are volcanic plugs and the surrounding land has worn away over the past millions of years.
Aaron, I've been riding a couple of gears lower than I normally do and I'm enjoying the higher revs more, I think I've been babying the engine a bit too much. I have a wifi endoscope on the way and I'll be having a look at the tip of the cylinder soon. Hard to tell yet, I'm gonna put 3 tanks of this stuff through.

User1, you're making me homesick!
I always fancied Tibrogargan looked like a great brooding ape when we drove past.
Hope to be back in QLD sometime next year, just got to tie up all the loose ends here in the west.
Good luck with the bike.
cheers
Mike
Very nice! I didn't realise you were another Qld'er!! Or maybe I did and I forgot?
Are you up the Sunny coast somewhere or is that just where you rode to? I like the hinterland but haven't been up that way for too long.
Forgot about this thread. We're up scarborough way best of both worlds eh/ beach and mountains! Excellent riding around here. Just discovered Mt Cootha bot gardens yesterday, who'd have thought you'd get such good riding in the city!

Ah yes handy location indeed! I don't mind where I am though, 5 to 10 minutes from home I hit the entrance to the fun way up towards Mt Mee that keeps you off the highway to Dayboro :thumb:
Just watch Mt Cootha, there's an over zealous fellow with blue lights who frequents the 50kph zones...
