Post by: chopperwoo on January 14, 2018, 09:30:43 AM
so checked my shims today and turns out all but one are way to tight so my intakes are less than 0.3mm so judging by the haynes manual i need a 2.65 to bring them back to normal is that correct ? i just wanna make sure before i order the shims as ive noticed they are not the cheapest

Take out the shims that are in there, measure them, do the math, order replacement shims.

You can't just order shims and assume they are going to be the right ones. You need to measure the ones that are in there first.

And make sure you dont get those crapola breaking shims. Chinese crap sold by K&L and others have killed many motors.
Cool.
