You think this forum feels slow sometimes, you should check the frequency of posts on the Blast sections on any Buell forum.

I'm kidding. For a beginner bike that's been out of production for nearly a decade, I would say this forum is very active. Maybe not as active as it was in the mid - late 2000s but everyone still here loves the bike and Have  been riding/working on the GS for long enough to know the bikes inside and out.

Wicked! Well I'm doing a few things to my bike. I got tires, muffler, jetkit that sort of thing going in it. What should the first thing I do after that.
Also I'm hearing bad things about dynojet kits. Why is that?

They are overpriced, and do unusual things, making it difficult to tune with standard parts and know-how.

Who knows what you are getting with the needles. Not many people here can help you figure out why it's not running right once you put unknown needles and unknown jet sizes in it.

Plus it's unnecessary. Just swap jets for one size larger (pilot and main). With a non-US bike you might even have adjustable needle seat position via E-rings, so that gives some tuning, but you probably won't need it.

"Dynojet" is good at marketing. Not so great at making your bike run the best.

If you are Australian or close,  MikuniOz are quick and cheap for jets. Look online. They are in Townsville so if you are there they are part of T D Hadtrick and co.
If US ( this needs to be confirmed because they have made some changes) , Sudco were my place to go to before we ( Aus) got MikuniOz.
