Title: New GS500 Carbs have additional vaccuum ports--Can't find routing
Post by: wade0731 on August 20, 2018, 09:45:33 AM
The carbs I bought to replace my old ones have extra vacuum or fuel lines on them. I will circle them in the pictures below. My old carbs did not have these vacuum lines. Should I just cap this new vacuum line or where can I route it?

Any idea what your new carbs came off of?  Knowing that could go a long way toward knowing what the lines in question are for.

Pretty sure those are for the evap system on California models.  I would just cap them off.

I found this diagram of the evap system on the wiki:
