Title: Cycleweird
Post by: qcbaker on September 20, 2018, 08:06:02 AM
I don't know if anyone here reads Rideapart.com but they have a recurring feature called "Cycleweird" that showcases weird custom bikes. Since there have been quite a few threads on here basically doing the same thing, I figured why not have a thread dedicated to it. Here's a couple:

This is an '89 Honda Elite scooter with the body of a jet ski:

Here's a '92 Ninja 250 with the front of a lawn mower instead of a front wheel:

If you see any weird bikes/trikes on craigslist (or really anything strange that's motorcycle-related), post 'em up so we can all point and laugh.

Hopefully this thread gets enough posts to actually warrant the sticky lol. Thanks, though!

If you can get a picture, post it up!

Oh, and post some more pics of the Battlecow! A motorized knee scooter definitely qualifies lol.

Remembered this one from when I was browsing Buell forums for advice on my Blast. This is the most jury-rigged POS bike I've ever seen. It's a chain-drive converted Blast that appears to be held together with bent coat hangers, duct tape, and whatever else the owner could find on the streets of Manhattan:

Yeah, even if the bike itself is ruined in a practical sense, you have to admire the amount of effort that goes into some of these things lol.
