The color scheme you're describing isn't on the wiki. Can you post a picture?
Thanks for the reply . Its an older bike , it may be a custom paint job . Have taken a couple of shots but my phone camera
is confusing me , i will post them once they get onto the pc ....

take your time, nobody here is going anywhere.
hoping this works
Looks like marble italian red on the colour chart to me ... what do you think ?
looks like a repaint. The orange peel on my last 1989GS was a lot less then that. but Mine wasn't a slingshot and american however, also I believe that is not the pattern for the OEM slingshot either.
Guess I will have to get a colour match paint made up or get a suzuki red and repaint the nose cone as thats the poor part and live with a colour missmatch ... thanks for the advice , its an old high mileage bike so not going to worry about things being perfect .. tidy enough will do ...
FWIW red is the most fade-prone color, so it's very unlikely a new factory color would match anyway. So either tint/match like a pro or eyeball it, you'll likely get closer to the old paint than you would with fresh new Suzuki paint on a nearly 30 year old motorcycle.
I decided to simply repaint the whole nose cone part so i dont need to worry about the exact colour as the rest of the fairing is not terrible , so bought some marble italian red and that will do ... it will look reasonably smart once done . Also fitting a higher windshield and extending the wing mirrors ... I find the wind buffeting a problem because of disability - it really agrovates my kneck and back ..... looking fwd to having the bike back on the road in the next few days ... thanks for your help ...
