Title: Cylinder block

Hi all .
   Cylinder block and the 4 inside studs are stuck solid ?
Any one had this problem and solved it.! :mad:

I haven't experienced this problem on a bike but often with car engines.  I assume you've soaked it with penetrating oil?  Have you tried heating the stud with a torch?

Ya , I've tried oil, heat , rubber mallet and very careful leverage. Not a budge.  :dunno_black:

With steel studs into an aluminum block, this is bound to happen.  Somewhere here on the forum is a lengthy and detailed discussion regarding the exhaust studs.  Over time the dis-similar metals will cold weld themselves together.  I don't recall if there were any solutions offered in that thread.

I'm no help at all.  Sorry.
