Hi, Does dropping the idle adjustment screw make any difference?  (Big plastic thumb screw under the carb)
Forza!

hi,
thanks for yours answers.
my bike is a 2004 gs500
maybe i find the problem.
I can move the choke lever from zero to the maximum and vice versa, but in fact the choke is always set to maximum.
the choke lever cable has been broken and the choke has been trapped to the maximum.
I have to change the cable

That would do it!

You can manually push the "choke" back at the carb, BTW. Normally it springs back all by itself. If you disconnect the cable at the carb then you can operate it manually although it likely won't stay "on" and it will be a challenge to keep it on while you are warming up the bike.
