Can I replace the two 34mm carburetors, with just one bigger carb? Answer and explanations welcomed and appreciated.

A great question and I'm interested in WHY??
No matter how clever and capable we are, we are certainly not stronger than the engineers from Suzuki who designed and produced a GS 500 machine.
