Hello,
Been working on it for a while and its finally good enough to ride around but nowhere near finished.
Bike is a 1990 Gs500e and the tail is a 98-99 R1 (I think).
• The seat is custom made. Fiberglass seat pan and is removable with the stock Gs seat latch. The R1 cowl/ passenger seat is also removable using the stock R1 latch.
• R1 tail light
• SV 650 rear shock
• Lunch box
I can post more pics too. Figured I would post it up and see what everybody thought. Maybe this will motivate me some more to get it complete.
Thanks
Welcome to the forum cloveday!
I personally would love to see more pics (and I know I'm not alone, right cbr?? ;) ) I think you've done a really nice job complementing the lines of the GS.
What do you think of the SV shock? I have one on my bike too and I like it.
Are you still able to carry a passenger?
Glad you decided to post
I like the Sv shock. I didn't notice a big difference performance wise but maybe that's because I'm a novice. I do like the appearance of the larger gap between the tire and frame though.
I should be able to carry a passenger. I supported the cowl in all of its designed locations, so as long as the R1 rear seat has the same locations I should be good. I still need to buy a R1 rear seat though.
more pics of that! looks interesting! Thanks for posting up!!

Wow, that almost looks stock! Great job matching the lines of the bike.
Did you have to permanently modify the frame at all?
