Title: Fuel starvation possible solution - Fixed the link now.
Post by: The Buddha on July 23, 2019, 04:09:34 PM
Fixed the link - but does it have the lever on the other side ? pics don't show that side, only the vacuum line side. Grrrr.

I know a lot of people have talked about converting to 1 petcock, and effectively - my .02 on that.

Someone should try this - I have not, and I would not be able to say if it will even fit or not - and the gasket is different from the GS gasket - that's all I know. Will it fit - maybe.

K&L Supply Motorcycle Fuel Petcock Valve Assembly 18-4172 (likely a file photo - so likely its a completely different part)

I suspect its not deep enough to get to the under side of the GS'es deeper frame compared to the intruders. However it would get 1/2 way there, and that's better than sticking in your hands all the way to the tank to fiddle it. Vacuum operated = you would rarely need to get in there, and will be able to use 1 fuel line and 1 vacuum line like the Intruder 800 that petcock belongs to.

Cool.
