Title: Throttle Delay and Popping Noise From Exhaust at Higher Speeds
Post by: alvin.xa on October 02, 2019, 09:11:38 AM
I'm having throttle delay issues at higher speed (40 mph +) and popping noises come out the exhaust. This happened all of a sudden and was immediately after I changed the light bulbs for my speedometer and tachometer. I cleaned the carburetor jets and bowl with no improvement. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

You do anything else electrically ? like disconnect the battery or something ? It almost sound like an electrical issue since you did light bulb swap.
As in - what was the last thing you did before everything crapped out ... that's the problem. Redneck troubleshooting at its finest.
Cool.
