Title: Where to get cheaper cylinder stud o-rings (UK)
Post by: Oscar_Muffin on January 22, 2020, 07:49:12 PM
I've been doing a valve job on my bike recently and it's ready to go back together. However before I put the head back on, when I look at the o-rings for the outer cylinder studs they look like a bit chewed up and old. I've been looking for replacements but the OEM spares are £4 each. Does anyone know where I can get these cheaper?

O rings are sold by size and rather generic. Measure and find the equivalents. New neoprene made today (generics are likely fresh stock) vs Suzuki crap made I n2009 or whenever they made those is likely to be better as well.
Cool.

In the UK these guys are great, buy the FKM 75 ones (same as Viton but slightly cheaper as they don't use the branded name) as they are slightly more expensive than normal but sooo much bettter for heat...

You just need ot get the exact dimensons.

I bought about 20 orings of each type for my triumph (about 20 different types from engines to carbs to forks) and it cost me about 30 quid. Now I'm set forever.
