I,m recent in this forum and I have a question with my GS500e 1991. It runs ok but after same time running in more than 90km hour it stops working at all and I'm not able to started again for 10 to 15 minutes. Any one experience this issue? After this time pass it starts again ok...
That may be the crank trigger on the right side of engine. Take that round cover off when it wont start and hit those pick up coils with a cold air spray and see if it will start back up immediately, that = those are going bad. Replace that round plate and it should fix it.

I remember somebody saying this was a common issue with the vent in the fuel cap. As you use fuel the vent allows air into the tank. If the vent is blocked then no air can get into the tank and you begin to get a vacuum in the tank that doesn't allow fuel out.
Take the bike for a ride and let the issue happen again. However, this time open the fuel cap once it stops running. If you hear hissing as you open the cap that means that the vent isn't functioning correctly.
Once you've done this, change the fuel tap to prime, allow to float bowls to fill up then try and start the bike again.
It should start after you've broken the vacuum in the tank.
If this is your issue then it's a simple job of taking the fuel cap off and cleaning it. I believe there should be a guide somewhere if you look.
