Title: occasional momentary loss of power
Post by: user11235813 on May 04, 2020, 11:59:40 PM
This is a strange one because of the high degree of engine braking on the gs, going over a bump in the road or a slight adjustment of grip can feel like a loss of power if the accelerator backs off even if it's just a bit, and I'm fairly used to that. However over the last few days, I've had a few occasions where there has been such a brief loss of power that it felt more than the accelerator backing off but it was so brief that I did not know if I was imagining it. However today I'm pretty sure because I was on a smooth stretch of road and there was the briefest momentary loss of power.

What would be the likely cause of such a brief power loss or could it be almost anything. Is it even worth trying to track this down until and/or unless it becomes more obvious?

I had this problem too, it was caused by rust in tank, changed the fuel filter, cleaned the tank and the problem was gone. Check the spark plugs too

could be fuel starvation, bad plugs etc.. hard to tell if it happens rarely
