I think the one on my new (2002) bike has a broken diaphragm. If none turn up here, is this a good choice for a replacement? https://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-2009-Suzuki-GS500F-Fuel-Tap-Petcock-Valve-44300C01D40J000-OEM-New-In-Box/253224654642
Hi bobcat,
Did you replace it with the '04+ petcock? Does it work well?
I have a '02 with a leaking petcock (and general fuel issues, e.g. won't run well on ON). I ordered a '04 petcock and am hoping it will work.
EDIT: I have installed the '04 petcock on my '02 bike. The hoses were a bit smaller but I pushed them in. After install, the bike ran like never before. I felt like it had the fuel it needed. Less pops, richer sound, etc. However, now it doesn't start properly. I think I need to clean my carbs or something. But I recommend changing petcock if you have fuelling issues
