Title: carbs -where does this tube go? - urgent.
Post by: jake42 on March 07, 2004, 02:26:00 PM
Dammit.
I labeled all my tubes when i took my carbs off and must have forgot this one.

Anyway.  It's the tube that comes off the upper T between the carbs.  I have the lower T labeled that goes back to the petcock,, but where the hell does the tube from the Upper T go?

Just so you guys know, I took out the airbox and replaced it with the big single K&N pod.  This is driving me nuts and Clymer's is not being very helpful

It is the atmospheric reference for the float bowls. It doesn't attach to anything, it just trails back and down into the relatively quiet air behind the engine.
