Hello, I'm a new GS500 owner and new rider, and wanted to introduce myself before I inundate you kind people with dumb questions.
I'm in Delaware county NY and recently bought a 96 GS500E as my first bike. All of the great info in threads here and on the wiki have been very helpful in starting to refresh the bike with a little overdue maintenance, and maybe a few minor mods in the near future.
I'm glad to have joined the ranks of GS500 owners, and I'm looking forward to being a member here.
I'm in NYC, am also a pretty new rider and just got a 2002 a few weeks ago. Let me know if you make it down the city and we can go for a ride!
