Wondering if I cut off the end can off my gs500 would I need to change the jets.
I'm no expert in rejetting, but if you mean removing the muffler so it's essentially a straight pipe then I believe you would definitely need to change the jets, or risk possible engine damage.
yes you may need +1 jet size and perhaps shim the needle. Please don't do this on a street bike.
