I'm considering dressing up the 93 with a cafe race 1/4 fairing. Specifically - the cheap ABS plastic universal sold on eBay. Has anyone bought one of these and installed it?
(I searched the forum and didn't come up with anything)
Sample photos for reference

TIA!
Not sure if anyone here has, but I recently saw a post on the Facebook group from someone with what looks like the same one.

Very very difficult to create a cafe racer from a GS5. You need that old school horizontal line running along the seat and tank base as a focus and it just isn't there
mikeg is correct, those come up a LOT on the fb group... I see them on bikes there quite often.
The internet has quite a few options for those, some with a more upright shape than the one in your pics... but also more expensive.

No, it's not going to look like a Manx Norton or classic British cafe without a lot of work and creativity.
( I'm not trying to make a cafe racer, just possibly the fairing)
If it fit up with a reasonable effort and looked "ok". I'd try it though...
This is way more work than I'm looking to do. I'm just thinking about cleaning up the front of the bike and getting a little wind deflection.
This bike below is very clever. The builder used the fixed fairing and white striping to create the horizontal lines for a classic cafe look. Notice the swingarm shock conversion too.
