~my apologies if this has been announced already but I searched and couldn't find anything~
Sadly, on 6th November 2020. Yama passed on from this life.
I only found out/realised yesterday when a birthday reminder for him popped up on my FB list
Details are scarce, he was due for surgery a few days later, found in his apartment by a family member
This is his FB link if you wish to investigate more.

One of The Legends has gone from here!
Damn very sad news, thanks for the heads up.....
His text was "while i breathe, i hope" So sad. I see he was last active 2 nov....
RIP Aaron and god speed.
As a newer member I only interacted with Aaron once to wish him luck with his upcoming operation. It seemed that he had very serious health issues.
Oh wow that's so sad! I know he was looking forward to having his leg sorted so he could potentially ride again.
You'll be missed around these parts Aaron, RIP indeed.
I'll always remember his sig, saying how he missed his mom. I imagine they are together again, happy and enjoying a place much better than here.
I bet Aaron and Patrick are both gonna be watching over this forum and doing whatever they can to protect us
So sad to hear! Aaron stayed on this forum for a long time even after having to get rid of his GS500 due to his health issues preventing him from riding. He continued to keep us all company, showing that the forum here is about more than motorcycles. This unique corner of the internet, GStwins, won't be the same without him.
I hope Aaron can finally ride with Patrick in the great beyond.
dang.. rip, i always liked his unique nickname, was looking for his new posts few months ago too wondering whats going on as he suddenly went totally quiet here, well now we know. thanks for the information.
Yeow, that sucks. I met him, and he fixed some of my vintage fake swiss watches.
RIP Aaron Thoma.
Cool.
Buddha.
Awww, I just saw this. Yama was a good guy.
