Title: CLUTCH PROBLEMS - NOW WONT START ??
Post by: MaxyMax on February 27, 2021, 02:23:29 AM
Greetings all, looking for some help and wisdom again.

Todays issue. i took the cover off to check the Neutral switch (as light hadnt been on for sometime) took it off, cleaned, had a look around, cleaned up the cluctch cable a little . put cover back on    ..... and now back in the shaZam!.

Wont start (sounds similar to when you have a flat batt) and gears are being a little funny , hard to get to it moving, move bike around can get them sliding up/down, but dont even need clucth leaver in to do so.

So something is very weird

Thanks in advance.

(battery is full, kill switches checked, stand is up)

Will it start in neutral? Sounds like you messed up the clutch cable adjustment. Do a full 3 part clutch adjustment.

So it turns over when you hit the starter button but won't actually fire up? Or nothing when you hit the starter? Or no lights at all?
Make sure its not side stand switch or clutch switch or out of gas or out of neutral but not holding in the clutch or battery that is fully charged but actually sh!t.
