Title: GS500 '01 dash cluster faces
Post by: nikolai_01 on June 24, 2021, 10:27:09 AM
Hello everybody,
I got bored of my dash faces and the RPM one is a bit peeled off on the top. I'm looking to make a DIY ones and I need a file with the exact same sizes. My Suzie is '01 model with the newer kph/rpm style. I've got the idea to scan them on scanner, but it's the riding season right now and I'm too lazy to disassemble everything. I saw a topic here about example files, but there are no links or if I find anything useful, the link is broken or expired. So my question is if somebody is keeping some files of already scanned or already made dash cluster faces? Doesn't matter what colour, just to be in kph, I would modify it later in photoshop. Thanks in advance.

Greetings,
Ivanov

There are some gauge faces available on ebay that are printed onto plastic as a complete replacement if you're interested in that.

They aren't the cheapest option, but may be easier and work better than a printed overlay.  :dunno_black:

Best of luck,
Mike

Hey Mike,
Thanks for the reply. Already saw those on ebay, but it's way too expensive for me and due to the new EU regulations it would get even more expensive... Also I'm that kind of a DIY guy - trying to make something for cheaper and on my own, then realising it's not that easy and won't work out after several attempts and finally deciding to just buy already made stuff. Thanks again
