Title: Bandit 400 needles vs gs500 needles
Post by: Henrico123 on August 10, 2021, 04:53:42 AM
I recently found a set of Bandit 400 carbs for a steal (I know they are not the same as the Gs carbs, looking to rebuild them and sell them). What I have noticed, is the needles have a "Step" In the taper towards the tip. Can anyone shed some light on why this would be, as the GS needles are only tapered? The emulsion tubes and jets in the bandit carbs are exactly the same as the GS, needle length and diameter at the top are also the same as the GS.

I am also wondering if this could be the solution to the flat spot my GS suffers from, don't know why I think that, my brain has just told me to try it..... :hithead:

Try it, but stepped needles are usually DJ or other aftermarket. Not original.
Cool.
