Alriiighty. Having done it in both a rolling chassis and on a bare frame a few times i can say the easiest way is with the engine flat on the floor and then theres a tilt and scoop method to get the frame over the engine. Wrap or tape up the frame if concerned about scratches.

Downside to this method is needing to rock and prop the frame to get suspension and wheels back on and build it up from flat ground. But personally ive found it the easiest way to get the engine in the frame.

Remove the R/H frame section. Drop the engine onto a trolley jack and manoeuvre it into place. Get the top rear bolt in first, refit the frame section then jiggle the engine up to get the front bolt in then .............but................. whatever works for you.
