I got copy parts form Wemoto in the UK. Also with new bushes. Still going strong years later.

But these guys can sort you or for original stuff , they are like a European version of RonAyers.com

Thanks for the swift reply ... I have looked at the site and can get all manner of bits but currentely no seals  so I will keep looking . Im a disabled biker and it means i have to pay the garage to get the seals done so want to make completely sure its sorted for a few years . I may have been unlucky on the last seal though... as you say yours have been good for a long time ..

You're absolutely right to hold out for GENUINE Suzuki seals - both times I replaced with patterns a seal popped within 4-6 weeks, whereas Suzuki ones lasted 12000mls+. I bought mine on ebay but they very rarely come up - grab them while you can if they do. Best of British to you mate, gruntle  :)

my non-genuine seals didn't hold day 1. At least the first set. 2nd set seeps. I finally put a wiper & boot over it so it won't leak onto the brake pads like it did once. I don't trust any of them now, but maybe I'll do it again one day with "genuine" Suzuki fork seals.

This should not be a hard thing to manufacture.

What year are you looking for , they have them for 2004 for example? I think all years are the same but dont take that as gospel.

Great that you are out riding!!

Did you have to modify the bike for your disability?

Cheers!

Hi ,, well my old  girl is an 89 slingshot( A gs500e with a fairing) , known as mavis the motorbike...! Shes a bit rough but goes well ... If ypou are sure the seals are the same then that looks fine ... I couldnt find any at all on the site ... Yes I have a dapted the bike. I had a gear shifter for a while . made the bars higher , messed with the seat padding and ride when i can which is not  so often ... I have a light weight mobility scooter on the back and a chiuhua in a top box on the tank ... its a  bit ramshackle but shes a great reliable old bike  and handles suprisingly well ( when there is oil in both forks!) ... Thanks for the advice  etc people ...

45000 km's ago I fitted second hand forks to my GS after changing the oil and they leaked. I cleaned the seals with a 0.1mm feeler gauge and haven't had to touch them since. While you're waiting for genuine seals to be readily available why not try and clean the ones on there. There's plenty of vids on the net showing how easy the job is.
Good Luck.

Here's a vid with a Yamaha mechanic showing how to clean a seal with a feeler gauge. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XkDUngbQuQ)
Hope it helps.

Thats a good idea , thanks i will do that , i have a feeler gauge ... I did try using a credit card  but that didnt solve it  so hopefully a feeler gauge will ..... I will report back if it solves or lessens the leak
