Title: Cross threaded front brake caliper at bleeder valve
Post by: Frankiechops on February 04, 2022, 08:49:56 PM
Hey guys, as the title suggest, I've struck trouble.

I was bleeding the brakes and noticed the bleeder was slipping and air getting in the bleeder tube. I took off the valve and the first 3 or so threads in the caliper are cactus. Have I got any option but to replace the caliper? I notice the lower threads deeper in are fine but I can't screw past the the cross thread. Any good news would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Its the best option, trying to repair and reclaim braking components is not a good idea  :dunno_white:
