Title: Srinath's Handle Bar Pictures
Post by: pdg108 on March 09, 2004, 10:20:41 PM
I finally got my bars installed and put up a couple of pages of pictures and such.

Hope this helps, these are from the first batch of bars he made a while ago.

Srinath if there is anything you want me to add or take away, just let me know.   :thumb:

Wowee Paul, You put in lots of effort into making them pretty, and nice pictures too. Thanks for putting them up. Sorry about the splatter... the paint was so runny and drippy that I had no idea where the welds/burrs were... else I'd have had them grind it down.
Cool.
Srinath.

So, uh, do you always work on your bike in the living room?  ;)

No big deal about the spatter, like  I said, no time flat with the dremel.  They look good at the moment, we will see how that paint holds up this summer.  I already put a couple scratches in the paint getting them mounted, but I don't really care, they still look bettter than the old ones. :)

What, you don't work on your bike in the living room?  How can you make dinner and watch TV while putting new bars on? :?   ;)

Nope I work on the bike outside and tell the wife to quit watching TV and make dinner... and usually sleep on the couch watching TV, licking dinner off my face...
Cool.

what's the schedule look like on these srinath? shall i paypal you the $52 tonite or wait until you have more 'in stock'?
Title: Wait just a little bit...

Well Paypal now is OK or I dont mind if its later too... I dont touch it till the bar with your name on it is sent anyway. I'll check with the fabrication guys if they want to put some better paint on it now that they are actually painting it. Last time they took all the trouble but used cheap ass house paint or some like that. Painting fresh metal is easier than all the sanding to clean up old metal.
Cool.
