I'm on the look out for a full fairing for my 96 GS500E. So far I have found a beautiful looking one at the Aluizio Moto's home page.

On the members page I have seen this next one

Does anyone know if I can get the same ones or ones just like them here in the USA?
Thanks[/url]
I'm looking at the the Aluizio too. I also considered the Gimbel.

Srinath has a used set of ???? brand ... missing the tank .... if i sell the set
i love commission
ask him for pics
I didn't say that....
Cool.
Srinath.
didn't someone here order the aluizio motos kit? i haven't heard anything about that in a long time...
how about someone in the US? anyone get one? how much is shipping?
I'm talking with Aluizio right now about it... just have to agree on the form of payment.
For the front section unfinished, they're charging $750 USD plus $70 USD shipping to Canada.
DO NOT SHIP FEDEX!!! FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR FAIRING, DO NOT SHIP FEDEX!!!
Monday, March 1: pizzleboy ships me the gel seat i bought for him. From Cambridge, ON, Canada, to Dieterich, IL, USA.
Tuesday, March 2: Package is delivered to some shmuck in Hamilton, ON, Canada, and promptly returned to Kitchener, ON Canada facility.
Wednesday, March 3: Package disappears.
Sometime, March: Package makes its way to Toronto, ON Canada.
Wednesday, March 10: Sanityfree and Pizzleboy raise hell with FedEx, and they realize that they are missing paperwork. Pizzleboy sends paperwork, package departs Toronto for the US border, never to be seen again.
Today is Monday, March 15: FedEx Trace personnel are, between apologies, supposedly searching for my seat.
It'll be funny if they tell me it's in Buffalo. I'm going to say, "Leave it there, I'm sending UPS to pick it up. And I'm billing you."
UPS for me... always have had good service from them.
It turns out Aluizio makes a full (front and back) kit for the pre '01 GS500E. $1050USD painted. Price but it looks SO good and cheaper than buying a new bike.
Now if my stocks would just stop going down, I could cash out and get me some fiberglass!
Sanittyfree: That's so sad, it's funny! :?
Moral: I will NEVER use fedex again. :x
i guess it finally made it across the border. 15 days to cross the border... jeez. pizzle, i could have RODE to cambridge and picked it up faster than FedEx is moving!
Wow. I want to breathe a sigh of relief, but me thinks I'll wait another day or two.
Good GAWD!!
and meanwhile, i'll be watching fedex's online tracking thingy incessantly.
these aluizio guys speak english, right?
Better than my Portugese...
I've been able to have pretty good conversations with them. It might be tough to get the installation instructions converted, but the installation pics look pretty straight forward.
Sorry for the Hi-Jack, by the way.
Those fairings look nice, really professional.
But the GS500 is all about that naked streetbike look for me. Very cool look AND easier to maintain. 8)

???
If anyone needs help with portuguese translations or contacts I might be able to help ( being brazilian after all )
Cheers,
Alex
does aluizio require Visa for international orders? that's going to give me a lot of trouble... i have a mastercard...

Anyone know if this fairing would fit on the GS ?
it might, but i bet it would require a metric ass load of modifications.
Know of any fairings like that of the Aprilia 250 RS sport look that will fit?
Aluizio told me Visa only for international at this point... but talk to them, they might accept an international money order.
or a mastercard?
i dont see why not. im sure u could easily mount it with available hardware that comes with it. if not take a trip to lowes/home depot and figure something out.
