Title: GS500H?
Post by: Dafid on April 26, 2023, 01:11:16 AM
Hi everyone,

I recently bought a GS500H, 2002. It's got 35kw. I was wondering what the H meant as I've been unable to find any information about this model.

What country are you in? E-19 is a country code. It looks like there were detuned "U" versions for that region. My '05 says GS500FH on the serial plate--it might just indicate the standard, non-detuned version; or it could indicate the country of mfg.

Interesting. It's a Dutch Bike, 48 HP, built 30-1-2002.
1405 mm wheelbase, 192kg's empty. That's all the specs known to the Dutch Agencies.

You can tell this chart is really old...W,Germany lol that takes me back :)

I don't know what year production in Spain started, but that's my best guess for the H. There should be a VIN on the left side of the frame, my 2005 has GS500FH and "Made in Spain on the VIN tag.
