Title: Carb intake rubber torque
Post by: andybb on January 30, 2024, 02:54:23 PM
What torque do I need to tighten the two bolts holding the intake rubbers on ?

I would not go very tight , it has an oring behind it and if you tighten too tight you risk warping the base. I'd just go by feel, with maybe a small drop of blue loctite to stop it coming loose.

It's a Philips head/JIS bolt, so I don't think you could go too tight anyways. Even with a big honkin screwdriver you can only toque it so much before the driver cams out. I wouldn't over think it.
