Title: Seeking Help for Handlebar Riser on 1993 GS500 with Flat Top Yoke
Post by: LiranT on July 31, 2024, 06:01:28 AM
Hello everyone,

I'm looking to switch to a more upright riding position on my 1993 GS500e, which currently has clip-ons. My top yoke is flat, and I'm having trouble finding the right handlebar risers. Most of the risers I come across are designed with round tips. Has anyone here successfully made this modification or know of specific risers that would work with a flat top yoke?

Details:

Bike: 1993 GS500E
Current Setup: Clip-ons
Top Yoke: Flat
I'm open to any suggestions, including:

Specific brands or models of risers that fit flat top yokes
Custom fabrication options
Universal risers that can be adapted
Any DIY tips or guidance
Additionally, I would appreciate any recommendations on the right handlebar size and specs to achieve a comfortable upright position. Information on width, rise, and pullback would be particularly helpful.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice!
