Title: Dropped Suzi and now won't start?
Post by: frerebo on January 24, 2025, 12:28:32 PM
Hi all. Due to a gravitational anomaly last month I dropped my dearest on the right side while cornering at 10-15ish mph. Since then, she will not start. Lights, signals, etc. work when key is turned, but starter switch does nothing to indicate that she's trying to start - no clicking, whirring, nothing.

I finally have time to work on her, and from what I understand the first thing to check is the starter relay. My electrician skillz are extremely unimpressive, so any additional suggestions/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

This vid  (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyhU5dIxJ2Y) is an example of how to short the relay to start the bike.
Hope it helps.
