Title: Front end fell, any tips?
Post by: _eggdealer on March 11, 2025, 10:42:18 AM
So the front end of my gs500f fell, I, being quite new to this, unbolted the bolts holding the forks without any bottom support since i wanted to raise them a bit to fit my clip ons and didn't realise the bike started dipping. So now theres like 25cm of forks sticking out the top, haha. I can't push the forks down myself since it's too heavy. Is a jackstand all that i need to push the front end back up?

you need to jack it with a 2x4 on the jack. go between the pipes on the bottom o the engine. jack then use a rubber mallot to drive them back down
