Title: Where to find block-off plates for an 05f
Post by: DarkCyDE on June 03, 2025, 07:04:56 AM
yes Im too lazy to make a pair of p.a.i.r. plates.

EDIT: Some A-hole filled the mount holes with two part metal.  The open ports, of course not.
Now what are my options?

you need to block those ports?in normal cylinders that ports dont do anything i believe, that is connected to the oil channel? never knew the ports function
i would try a glowing red hot screw, screw it in ,then try to get cylinder as hot as you can and try to push out, or maybe re tap the holes, i dont know which option is better

You can use PAIR blockoff plates intended for a Hayabusa (1st and 2nd gen I think). Of course you well end up with 2 extras because you have half as many cylinders.
