Title: New solution for serious problem
Post by: ACE on March 20, 2004, 04:39:01 PM
well, it all started off in the garage where 3 motorcycles are sitting. We have a lab and a bulldog that stay in the garage at night. Needless to say they have been draging stuff out of the work area anc chewing up valuable items such as my step-fathers brand new $450 fringed saddle bags on his 2004 vulcan 1600, next We see paw prints on the seat and the front fender. Well after that happend my step-dad went to home depot and bought alot of plywood and 2x4's. there is now a 4 ft wall in the garage separating the two stalls. works good and the last thing i want to happen is for a dog to mess up my new GS. just thought I'd share.

I feel sorry for the dogs...   All they wanted to do was go for a ride :nana:

Yeah, but it sounds like the dogs took HIM for a ride!

Tell your dogs that you're going to rename them if they continue misbehaving.  "Lunch" and "Dinner" sound good!  ;)

I  promised my sister that I'd watch her cats for a few days while she was at a conference.  I'm allergic to the little buggers.  Since I can't sell them off to a Chinese restaurant, I named the pudgy little furballs "Fat", "Stupid" and "Lazy" If one of them brushes up against me again, I will kick their kitty asses!

man, they rub on you for one of two reasons....

#1(and the most important[from the cats p.]) you don't like/are alergic to them.

#2you really like cats(ok, it may be hidden), and they like you.

My gf has 20+ cats(long story) and most of them love me.  I like cats, they make great pets, but I am alergic to them(dander and licking me).  I will feed and pet them, some I will go out of my way to take care of, but I still have to consider my health.  On another note, my exwife has three(one is mine), and dosen't keep up their boxes(her prob. not mine), but I wish my cat had a better home(another long story).

Keep in mine #1 and #2 and you will understand most cats.  Other than that, the rules above have no bearing on life unless the happen to apply to your bike.

There's a couple cats I get along with well :)  When I visit my friend's house, his wife does an extra good job of cleaning (place is mostly spotless anyways) and I have no trouble with the cats.  Just have to wash my hands often and not rub my eyes.  And at another friend's... he had the cutest kitty that would sit in my lap.  It forgot to grow up so it's almost kitten sized.

My sister's apartment is too small for 3 cats, and it's a mess.  Therefore, a haven for allergies.  Catching a whiff is enough to set things off :P  So as little contact as possible is warranted in that case.  Those cats are so f-ing lazy they won't even pay attention to toys dangled in front of them.  They've eaten so much the stalk response has been fed out of them!

Most cats will fit in a microwave. (...just a thought)
