ok what do you guys think is better for my 89 gs500, ceramic or kevlar brake pads? or is there one type i don't know about? i want something good but not to grabby because i am new at this and i don't want to do any unintentional endos or any endos at all really. can you get a 500 to do endos and wheelies? not that i whould try i would be happy to stay upright  any advise would be great thanks all buh bye and GOD bless
I use EBC HH rated pads. They're a great improvement over the OEM. Not kevlar - but I don't know if you could call them ceramic. They are made of sintered bronze plus some other stuff.
I just put a set of EBC front pads on my GS450, and once they were seated, there is no way to compare them to what was there(I bout the bike used and have no idea as to what was there). I've seen good reviews on EBC pads for a while, but after seeing the change, that is what will be on any bike I own.
Don
I have a set of EBC HH front pads that I can sell you if you're interested. Brand new in shrinkwrap.
hey mike what are you looking to get for'em??
I don't remember what I paid for them. Why don't you make me an offer?
5 bucks and case of beer?
5 bucks, a case of beer, and a Playboy. And not just any Playboy. The one with Torrie and Sable in it.
I have that playboy!! there ok but i like petite chicks myself....and they are not petite buy any means. :P but i'd do them any how cheers to that! anyhow hey mike how does $20 plus shipping sound? i can get them on ebay for a buy it now for about that.
That sounds perfect. Wanna do $24 shipped? I think that's what shipping will be, more or less. What year is you bike? I have the pads that fit a 93, the model is FA 129 HH. At one point the brakes changed, I can't remember when, it will not fit all years. Make sure it fits yours.
