Well, I have a little rust around and on each little nut and bolt hear and there, and I thought about putting caps over them or just redoing them all and get some stainless ones. have any suggestions? any similar expireinces?

yep-ask Mr wilson about tastynutz.com--bad exp...anyway postings on tastynutz and wanted aftermarket engine case bolts--check back will be getting sizes tomm??? :dunno: I think my dealer is closed on Mon.
mine isnt, ill check and see what i can dig up :thumb:
Thats cool---now that I 'm thinking they do make stainless caps to go over bolts they had a kit for a road crusier but they wanted like $30 bucks for it --rather replace with aluminum for that price and not have to worry about them falling off......
I just clean em up with WD40 now and again.
Lowe's sells packets of SS bolts and washers in 6-10 mm diameters. I bought some for an older bike with some rusty bolts, and it made a real difference. The cool thing is you can file the numbers and grade markers off, then polish them. They end up looking like they're nickel plated-- shiny but a shade darker then chrome. They're virtually maintenance free. They don't handle smaller diameters for case bolts; a fastener specialty store will most likely carry them.
