Title: Pirelli Tires
Post by: Stime187 on March 29, 2004, 05:20:25 AM
I was just looking around for a good price on some new tires for the GS, and after looking at a few of the regulars, I came across the Pirelli Sport Demon tires. So, out of curiousity, has anyone heard anything about em or ridden on em? I'm thinking about picking up a set, but want to be sure they aren't worthless before I do...

Thanks guys,
Scott

I just had them installed, haven't ridden an inch yet though. Too much snow and ice back here.

I also got a set mounted this winter. 150/60 and 110/70 ( i have a gsx-r rim) rode on them a little but i am too inexperienced a rider to make a good judgement to their quality. I did get them for an awesome price. 110 for the front and 135 for the rear. it was 35 to mount both tires. I love how they look!

I got them mounted a week or so ago.  So far I am very happy with them.  This is only the second set of tires I have had on this bike though.  The set that was on it when I bought it was a very used mismatched Dunlop 204 and a Metzler Metronic.
This obviously doesn't give a very good comparison but that being said I can drag knee with the Pirellis.  Haven't ridden in the rain with them and don't really care much to try.
