Do any of you folks from the SW Virginia, SE West Virginia, NE Tennessee area know if it's faster to get to the Florida gulf coast (Ft. Myers area) by making your way over to 95 and going down or heading down to Altanta and taking 75 down?
95 is boring!!
My friends from Florida who come up to VIR say 95 is the quickest way.
I live not far from the track... just north of Danville, VA.

I-95 has no major cities traffic to slow you down if you hit anywhere during rush hour south of Richmond but if you are in the western part of Virginia or eastern Tennessee I-75 is a closer point to start but will take longer since you will end up spending all day around Atlanta if you hit at the wrong time.
Depending on where you are you can take I-77 south to I-26 east to I-95 south to Jacksonville and then head toward I-75 south to Ft Myers.
