Yes, I purchased a bike used and man oh man, there are a lot of bolts missing, on gas tank, ferrings, you name it theres a bolt missing. I was wondering if there was a site where you could order oem bolts and other odds and ends. I browsed the for sale section with all those links to vendors. Just wondering if someone could help me out here,
Thanks,
Matt

Ron Ayers is cheaper, but BikeBandit is more well known I guess. I've ordered from both :) You go to the fiche section and search for the parts you need.
If you need the part numbers go to www.motofiches.com/sites/TYRBUW/fiches. The site is not in english but it has exploded drawings with part numbers down to the smallest item.

i have a huge bag of bolts that i bought off of ebay that are from a gs500. i used a couple for my bike, but there's a ton left. don't know exactly what's in there. let me know if you're interested.
Usually a 'locally owned' hardware store will have a good selection of metric fasteners. (Forget the big box stores - Home Depot etc. )
I've always found what I'm looking for at:

Also look for stores that sell nuts, bolts etc. exclusively. I guess I'm lucky. Tacoma Screw has a store in my neighborhood:

I second oldsport's suggestion. I needed a bunch of different bolts for the bike just this past weekend. Went to a local hardware store, and walked out 5 minutes later with everything I needed for about $2.50.
This is great if you've got at least one of each type of bolt that you can show the dudes.
