Hey

Does anbody know what front end will fit on the gs500 with the least amount of trouble. I have been looking at upgrading to either a gxsr or kawa front end. I know a guy that was selling a sv650 with with trees and everything but I wasn't sure if they would fit. If anybody has experience or any knowledge on upgrading front end it would be appreciated.

Early 90s Katana...just swap stems. The wheels are the same but the brakes & rotos are different.

The pre '95 Suzukis use the same type of solid steel steering stem as the GS. Later bikes use thicker, hollow aluminum stems that are too fat for the GS frame neck. So I'd avoid the SV piece if you're looking for simpoicity.

yeah, and they are a little tough to get in the US....almost non-existant

not a problem, The RGV USD is beautiful and light...you are lucky to have access to them....I've been trying to get a used RG racebike for over a year....they still want WAY TOO MUCH $$$$ for a roller with a blown engine and missing bodywork...it would be SWEET with a DR650 single in it though..... :mrgreen:

if you find one on ebay uk (www.ebay.co.uk) and get it delivered to someone on the gs500e.co.uk forum, i'm sure someone would send it to you if you pay the expenses :thumb:

I would offer but i'm only 17 - i don't ship much stuff so i wouldn't know where to begin :dunno:

i already have a
early 90's katana F/E
89 GSXR750 F/E
and
93 GSXR 750 USD F/E
on 3 GS's

also spare....RF900 F/E, YZF1000R 48mm F/E
and a couple of others.....

installed a Bandit 400 f/E on a RZ350
installed a 95 GSXR750 USD on a 87 GSXR750
installed a FZR600 F/E on a SRX600

still want to convert a... FZ600 set of forks to fit a YSR50

i don't need anything right now
