Yeah, I saw this last week (linked to from slashdot.org) and posted it in the odds'n'ends forum.
Just to link the comments together (was worth a read, for anyone who doesn't follow both rooms) http://www.gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7753 (http://www.gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7753)
We should do a poll on how long before she gets cancer.
Awesome article. Scary too. :o She rides a monster bike through "the dead zone" where a gust of dust laden wind can kill her. She's young, pretty, intelligent, and obviously has money. What's wrong with this picture? Could she have a bit of a death wish? :dunno:
I like how she says she pegs the redline. What happens if she crashes....no one would find her. I would say she has a death wish
Better question is...what would happen if her bike broke down?
She said she goes by herself or with a passenger (only one bike) because others would throw up dust. She also says mobile phones don't work there either (if memory serves). What a nice place to be stranded. :o
I guess she has alot of trust in her bike. She said she brings a patch kit, how the hell do you patch a tire by yourself with only the tools that come with the bike. Maybe I just use to all the options we have here......

She's an idiot.
You don't have to be poor, old and ugly to be an IDIOT.
I'm sure if she does it often, she'll die young. As was proposed... maybe that's the idea.
amazing...i saw this page a week ago from another board and didn't know what it was about...i decided not to read it...but now i found the "next page" button and now read every page....twice
i don't think she has a deathwish but want's to find out what happend on the day of the nuclear explosion.....i just asked my mom about this accident that happend and found out that i was born and raised about 1000 KM away from this place (about 600 miles)
She pushes it with how much radiation she is getting, but at least she tracks it with a dosimeter. Its not gonna kill her, but she will have a little bit more of a chance for cancer or something.
Speaking of radiation, I will be going into containment at the nuke plant on and off for the next couple weeks to do some inspections. I look forward to having a healthy green glow afterwards. And I'm told I will only be sterile for five years or so :bs:
