For example, there was a GS tank on ebay the other day. Yes, I knew there was another member here on the board bidding, sorry Dvgyer, but why should YOINK stop someone else from bidding on it!!??

Now for my opinion. If it's on ebay, it's open to everyone! :thumb: There shouldn't be any hard feelings or any BS about it, it's there for others to bid on. Plain and simple, if you're poor save more money and buy something if you've been outbid.
Now don't take me like an ass, I'll do anything for just about anybody, but my opinion, you'll hear it. It's just who I am. ;)

i agree, i wouldn't like it if i was selling something like a gastank for a GS, then someone here call's dibs and i end up selling the tank for $5 :?

Well, I think the yoink is a courtesty we extend each other as members of GSTwin. It's not like you are totally limiting the price of the item. It just kinda exists to limit bidding wars between friends. :cheers:

people were doing "the yoink" when i first found this forum just about a month ago.i took it as a way to keep the gstwiners from jacking the price up on eachother if someome wasn't serious enough to pay what its worth and was just trying to see if they could get a good deal.i mean if ya need a part i don't expect you to go without a tank or a starter or something and not be able to ride your bike just to save me $20,besides it seams most people here at gstwins post it here before they do ebay so we wouldn't be cutting the price down on one of our fellow gs'ers anyhow
