Title: Bieffe Helmet?
Post by: newbieone on April 12, 2004, 08:10:46 PM
I was looking on DennisKirk.com and found some smoking deals on a Bieffe helmet like $50, or so. I owned one of this a long time ago when I bought a dirt bike, and actually used it in drag racing. It was a decent helmet. I was just wondering if they were worth anything or not to be protecting my melon! There are also some good deals on some AGV are they more reputable?

Let me know,
Adam

I got a Bieffe helmet. Although I don't remember the model #er off hand. I love it. It's just as good as my HJC  with all it's vents and what not. FYI both of mine are DOT and Snell approved.

I had a Bieffe helmet a couple of helmets ago.  Snell rated and everything.  The fit and finish were pretty crappy and the visor would flip up if you turned your head to the side when going more than 45mph.  Vents sort of worked.  Overall, it was very reasonably priced and provided the neccessary protection, but you give up some of the comforts that the more expensive helmets offer.
